Welcome

My interest in this work began with a simple curiosity about how people change and why, even when we understand what we need to do differently, it can still be so difficult to live our lives in new ways.

My work has focused on supporting individuals as they navigate what life brings, questions of meaning and connection, and how to stay true to themselves moving forward.

After receiving my LCSW, I completed a five-year intensive training program in relational psychoanalysis to deepen my foundation as an individual therapist.

I worked in a variety of clinical and organizational settings, providing psychotherapy, group facilitation, and consultation to both individuals and corporations and served as a columnist for Glamour magazine before opening my private practice.

In addition to my clinical training, my work has been enriched by study in somatic and experiential approaches, including equine-assisted therapy — a lifelong passion of mine rooted in what we can learn from the natural world about regulation, relationship, and resilience.

In 2012, I opened The Healing Horse and through this work, I have led workshops and retreats in Arizona, Florida, East Hampton, the Hudson Valley, and Kenya.

I received my graduate degree from Columbia University , my BA at Brown University. I have also done supervision and taught at Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis.
